You deserve so much better.

Thousands of moms and dads bring their new babies home each day but often feel isolated, ill-equipped, and overwhelmed.

The healthcare system focuses so much on prenatal care but leaves parents largely on their own to figure out the 4th trimester. That's just NOT good enough. Nurturers deserve to be nurtured.

HONEY is on a mission to fill the postpartum healthcare gap by supporting and guiding parents through the postpartum whirlwind.

What no one (not even your doctor)

ever told you about postpartum ...

The enormous challenges and changes you face during the first 12 months with your new baby are rarely talked about... but they affect nearly every aspect of your life.

To have a healthy, balanced, and sweet postpartum, moms and dads need to successfully navigate four main areas of life that HONEY calls the:

Four Pillars of Postpartum Wellness

Infant Care

Mental Wellness

Physical Recovery

Sensuality & Intimacy

Meet Dr. Wright-Terrell
MOM. OBGYN. FOUNDER.

Let's face it: a huge reason postpartum depression and anxiety develop is often because of stressful and overwhelming circumstances. I get it. Not only because I'm an OBGYN... but also because I'm a mom. The postpartum chaos hit me much harder than I EVER expected after the birth of my daughter.

I realized that a giant gap exists in postpartum medical care, leaving parents overwhelmed and struggling, and I decided that I had to do something about it.

Through the proactive measures of the HIVE program and HONEY's 1:1 video appointments, we can help prevent the development of postpartum depression and anxiety. And we are working to complete research to substantiate this claim.

I founded HONEY to be an affordable, accessible, and inclusive community to empower and support new moms and dads on their journey into parenthood. The well-being of every parent lays the foundation for a brighter, healthier, and happier future.

We need a proactive way to prevent postpartum mood disorders.

“Proper preparation and support before and during postpartum can lead to reduced postpartum depression and anxiety, improved bonding between parents and baby, and better overall health outcomes.”

- Dr. Danielle Wright-Terrell, OBGYN

  • In Flow, the first-of-its-kind personalized planner revolutionizes women's approach to productivity and wellness by helping them honor the rhythms of their menstrual cycle by breaking away from the conventional notion of planners centered solely around productivity and goal-setting. With In Flow, a woman’s “Day One” starts with her menstrual cycle (if she bleeds) or aligns with the moon's phases (for women who do not menstruate but wish to connect with a symbolic, feminine rhythm found in nature). The planner guides women to make small, manageable changes to nutrition, movement, and mindful practices throughout their cycle, resulting in a deeper connection with their bodies, a heightened sense of mindfulness, increased embodiment, and the ability to embrace the various seasons of womanhood.
